Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport has published a new computer rendering of the forthcoming Volkswagen Golf-based SUV (Front view, Rear view). The crossover will sell for around 25,000 euros, is about eight inches (20cm) longer than the Golf and about 15 inches (40cm) shorter than the Volkswagen Touareg, A variety of gasoline and diesel engines are expected to be offered, ranging from 140 to 280 horsepower. In early December, we pointed readers to an AutoBild report on the forthcoming Volkswagen Scirocco and Golf SUV. The German magazine provided its own computer renderings of how the two Golf-derrivatives might look.
