Over the past few years, BMW has created some rather polarizing vehicles. The current 6-Series represented a major step forward for BMW’s design studio, but also left many of BMW’s typical buyers in the rear-view mirror. However, BMW boss Jim O’Donnell says that will change with the next-generation of the two-door.
Speaking with Automobile Magazine, O’Donnell revealed that the next 6-Series will be the “best-looking BMW in years”. The next iteration of the two-door will retain its overall size and shape, but is slated for a thorough styling revamp.
“In my opinion, the next 6-series is the best-looking car that BMW has done in years,” O’Donnell said. “It’s really stunning.”
O’Donnell failed to reveal any other 6-Series details, but did add it will feature a “super sleek” design. We’ll have to wait a bit to form our own judgments as the next 6-Series isn’t expected to debut until March 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show.
