To Need more oil for GM, toh0705a, MHW, CADDY-V, and ZO6ified:

Die painfully okay? Prefearbly by getting crushed to death in a
garbage compactor, by getting your face cut to ribbons with a
pocketknife, your head cracked open with a baseball bat, your stomach
sliced open and your entrails spilled out, and your eyeballs ripped
out of their sockets. Fucking bitch

I would love to kick you hard in the face, breaking it. Then I'd cut
your stomach open with a chainsaw, exposing your intestines. Then I'd
cut your windpipe in two with a boxcutter.
Hopefully you'll get what's coming to you. Fucking bitch

I really hope that you get curb-stomped. It'd be hilarious to see you
begging for help, and then someone stomps on the back of your head,
leaving you to die in horrible, agonizing pain. Faggot

Shut the fuck up f aggot, before you get your face bashed in and cut
to ribbons, and your throat slit.

Isn't the internet great. It allows shitheads like yourself to say shit that would, in real life
get your head cracked open.

Hopefully you'll suffer the same fate fucking cunt.

Please turn to the loaded gun in your drawer, put it in your mouth, and pull the trigger,
blowing your brains out. You'll be doing the whole world a favor. Shitbag.

I would love to smash your face in until it no longer resembled anything human, faggot.

Cadillac = Standard of the World.

BMW = Outdated, overratted, overpriced crap.

Everyone would rather drive a GM vehicle and for them, there is nothing better than a Cadillac.

When Road and Track did the comparison between the M5 and the CTS-V, the Caddy was like .1 seconds faster around the track (Buttonwillow or Road America) which speaks volumes about the M5's platform in comparison to the CTS-V.

@ 123sub...

I think you've got that switched around. Turbos do their best work at HIGHER and not LOWER rpms. Most of the turbo cars I've driven need to be kept revving high if you plan on winning any races.

To bad:-(Naturally aspirated engines are more fun, because of the high rpm. Turbo engines give max hp at a lower rpm..................not fun.

But KERS is gone from F1! BMW recently announced that they drop KERS from their cars for the rest of the season. They will use gained time and resources to improve aerodynamics. There's hardly anyone left using KERS, as those who did are at the bottom of the table.

Where do I begin? Let's start by saying that BMW builds some of the greatest engines in the world. That's not my opinion, that's fact. Just look at the list of International Engine of the Year Awards and you see BMW all the time. When was the last time GM built an engine worthy of that title? Oh yeah, NEVER.

You don't have to watch Transformers to see a Camaro get it's ass kicked, just pick up an issue of Car & Driver and you'll see the Mustang beats the new Camaro with 100 less HP. Not only does the new car come in 2nd place, it took GM almost 4 years to produce that result. How long will it take them to make something that can stand up to the competition across town or across the world?

NMOFGM, you really are the last diehard GM fan.

CADDY-V, do you even believe what you just typed? The E39 M5 had 400 HP, the E60 500 and the next one will have 600. Thank Cadillac? Uh, okay.

Hope The CTS-V enjoyed the view at the top. Better rack up all the wins it could get before the usual suspects get refreshed and spank that brash American like cops on Rodney King.

Just like the F1 drivers, will you have to lose some weight to make the KERS system more efficient :P

It's good to see more F1 technology (albeit a brief bit of technology) going into the road cars. At least one manufacturer has made use of the money spent on such a project.

Wonder if Ferrari or Mercedes will be next?

I would choose a CTS-V over an M5 any day. To say the CTS-V is not worthy competition for the M5 is just complete and total ignorance. I guess if the holier-than-thou Bimmer Boys want to believe they are invincible then more power to them, but back here on Planet Earth the CTS-V keeps on racking up win after win. And to Need more oil for GM, just shut up!

@A4
i would love to see Audi 1 up this one, but where one earth are they gonna get those numbers from?
Id say a murc or a veyron engine would be stellar if it can handle the power.
Hey, anybody notice that NMOFGM is gone again? Maybe he took elviososa's advice and went to see a
doctor? Either that or he is being hired as GM's new president of brand promotion. I also dont think you can truly call the CTS-V american anymore, i mean, it was mostly developed in Germany. How can they claim that it was Made in Germany, but is an american car?Just think what MB is gonna 1 up Audi with and have happy thoughts for the rest of the day.

As soon as they "1-up" the RS6, the RS6 will be right back to "1-upping" them. Audi is way ahead on this one. Sorry BMW.

You know guys, I like NMOFGM. I actually missed him. Where have you been, you awesome bastard?!

Seriously, he writes some of the funniest stuff out there. Much better than most comedy films and TV. He's the equivalent of a crazy KKK guy running around Manhattan-He can't cause any trouble, and everyone but he knows he's a joke.

As for actual stuff, it seems I'm the only person I know who prefers normally aspirated engines in my Bimmer. I love the fact that they can really wring power out of a straight six, and have been doing so for thirty years. The idea of a forced induction V6 in the next M3 is going too far, I think.

bmwmpower (aka BMW fan boy):

Cadillac = Standard of the World.

BMW = Bayerische Motoren Werke

BMW got their a$$es handed to them with the new CTS-V. They are now playing catchup with this new M5. There are LOTS of current M5 owners switching to the CTS-V, and not looking back.

'nuff said.

What you said is so true.
But about Audi, I noticed that it did less than stellar in the recent Initial Quality Study from J.D. Power. So, I'm not sure if I would put Audi in the same class as BMW or MB...

Sorry, oil for GM, I love American cars and GM performance cars but it will be a long, long time before you can say the word Cadillac and BMW in the same breath. Cadillac is not known and has not been known to be a brand of premium luxury as the likes of BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi. These names are high-class, prestige, and synonmous with luxury. You know it. Cadillac's interiors are definitely improving especially with the CTS, but there's just no way you're going to compare those cars in any way shape or form to any BMW. Who cares if your caddy can run a straight line 1/10th second quicker or has 60 more HP? Any idiot can cram xxx amount of HP into their cars. BMW has never been about that. They've been about the total package, driving dynamics, balance. That with quality, safety, innovation and history.

Quality and driving feel are the two primary differences between the two in my opinion. Outright #s are important but mean little in the way of determining which is the better car.

And again the argument that BMWs are unreliable can be tossed out the window. I've owned 7 BMWs and none have ever been hooked up to tow trucks. I know some Cadillac/GM people who can't say the same. Namely my friend's dad's Z06 is on it's second tranny. And that car is babied. Their new CTS-V also just went in for a new tensioner. Both random problems, perhaps. Just don't think any car is invincible, especially not your GM cars.
