Moving up the Arnage makes tons of sense, moving up the Continentals does not. Bentley can make handsome money picking up market share in the class where the Conti's are sitting right now and probably wants to stay in touch with the Quatroportte/Panamera segment. Conti Speed versions can cover folks looking upmarket anyway...

So, will the Chandelier be in the hallway between the lavatory and the lounge?

Or will it be situated in the Foyer over the starcase to the master bedroom?

How does the tip of the scale move up?

Rolls is not considered, because the Arnage is actually a car, whereas the Phantom comfortably attaches to the front of a train without suspicion.

It only makes sense.. the significantly less expensive Continentals already outpower the Arnage in nearly every way.. so a modernized, more powerful Phantom-fighting Arnage would command a premium over the current model, and leave room for the next Contininentals to move up in price and appointments to compete with the upcoming 200EX Rolls.

The only thing more upscale than a Bentley is a Gulfstream, and even that's pushing it.

To make the new Bentley climb higher it will have the engine upgraded to "6 and 7/8ths L" from the traditional "6 and 3/4" and the horsepower will go from "Adequate" to "Superlative"

It can go into Phantom territory, which is significantly more expensive, but to be honest I would much rather have one of those most recent Arnage Final Series or something of the sort over a Phantom, unless I was being driven around of course.
