Glass roofs seem to be a growing trend in the auto industry, with vehicles like the Mercedes S-Class and Cadillac SRX offering them. Not to be left out, Land Rover plans to add a glass roof to its next-generation Freelander, according to a report by AutoExpress in the U.K. In the magazine’s latest issue, there are spy photos of a heavily disguised prototype in testing — with a glass roof that stretches the full width of the hard-top in two panels. We don’t have any images to post at this time, but we’ll keep you posted as the story develops. Recently, spy photos, like the one shown to the right, were captured of the truck.
