Hello

For anyone that is getting a hard time from Toyota in terms of the Toyota Tacoma Frames rusting out please try this website The Center for Auto Safety It has alot of valuable information on it and you can file a complaint if you wish. Another website is Home | National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) | U.S. Department of Transportation file a complaint and they will start investigating your complaint. Hopefully this can help alot get many of these defective vehicles off the road and correct corporate irresponsibility.

I have the facts sales resale reliability on my side If GM is was so good why are they struggling ? why are they still having recalls for things like fires in their best selling worst used car list trucks ?

I don’t tend to believe the unintended acceleration thing, either. I’ve heard of people who swear they’ve had it happen to them, but I think there is probably some driver inspired cause. I’m just enjoying watching toyota (and by proxy, 1115) squirm.

I know two former Toyota owners who would never buy another Toyota.
1. Sienna owner. Blown motor at 52k miles due to sludge. Toyota paid part of the bill. 2nd motor went to 110k miles and siezed up due to sludge. Owner showed oil change receipts to dealer, but dealer would not pay anything towards another motor. Reason: oil not changed by Toyota.
She now drives an Explorer – got 200,000 miles out of her previous Explorer. Oil changed at discount dealers.
2. Toyota pick-up owner. Transmission problems and rusted frame at 90,000 miles. Said he was ‘cured’ of the Japanese car myth. Went back to driving F150′s.

I loved EVERY single one of your excuses on everything from the sludge and acceleration issues (which haven’t been “proven” even though Toy issued recalls for the other cars they made affected by this and issued a statement admitting the sludge issue) to the 100,000s of recalls from Toy for other issues. One you missed is the Civic’s wheels falling off. O, and the rust. You pointed to problems with American cars which, at BEST, proves that Toy and GM have the same amount of problems. How does this “prove” that Toy is better? How does is prove that Toy has better quality than GM? It doesn’t!! You are bashing GM for what they have done 10 years ago, when Toy is going through the same problems RIGHT NOW. Or windows shattering on Matrix’s (which, although it was a recall on the Pontiac version, it was Toyota’s fault as the mechanics come from the Corolla)? Or hundreds of reports coming in yearly about their Toyota’s getting stuck at the throttle? They’ve all been proven, and they’ve already been recalled. And this recall? Sure isn’t floor mats this time…

The Tacoma uses totally different floormats and floor pedals than any other Toyota production vehicles.

You know what cracks me up on the thread with the rusted out Tacoma frames someone posted a link to a Tacoma forum where people were talking about their rust issues and half the posts said “I love my Toyota truck. My frame is rusted thru and almost snapping in half and a piece of road debris shot thru my rusted floorboard, but I love my Toyota!”

That’s what you call brainwashed.n Also have to love Toyota’s announcement which stressed that it is “not a recall” and that it affect only a “small number of vehicle … 813,000 Tacomas.” 1115 would blow a blood vessel jacking off if GM released the same statement.
