The Armada is Nissan's full-size SUV and shares the same platform with the Nissan Titan.
Available in two- or four-wheel drive, the Armada lineup consists of two trim levels: the SE and LE.
The crossover comes standard with a 317 horsepower 5.6L V8, a rear sonar system, dual zone climate control and second and third row seats that fold flat. You can get an engine that burns E85 ethanol in addition to gas for better fuel economy and gas savings. When properly equipped, the Armada can tow up to 9,100 pounds.
The four-wheel drive system responds to changes in the road to adjust the car to current driving conditions. Added to that are big 4-wheel disc brakes with more stopping power. The Armada is a smooth ride, thanks to a solid F-alpha platform and independent rear suspension.
Outside, the Armada was recently updated with a new chrome grille, bumper and headlights. The SE wheels are 18 inches; the LE has 20 inch wheels.
Inside, there's room for eight, and rear-seat entertainment is optional. Dual zone automatic temperature control regulates the temperature in the front and rear of the car. Rear-view monitoring is available, as is a voice activated navigation system.
Safety wise, the Armada has active front head restraints to reduce whiplash, side curtain airbags, and antilock brakes, and an electronic stability system standard.
Optional side-impact airbags for the front are available.
