The G35 and G37 are the cheapest by a huge margin to their nearest competitors when compared feature to feature. It's no suprise that they're selling well.

make it a rag top, these hard top convertibles are stupid. They look like awkward versions of their coupe counterparts. Yes they have more practicality, but traditional ragtops look the part so much better when there is a coupe counterpart. Cars designed from the outset with a retractible hardtop are perfection (SL-class, Eos, C70, XLR)... but when it is second place to the coupe - aka 3-series or the G6, it looks nowhere near as good. If youre going to cut the top off an existing coupe, make it a ragtop.

The G37 is selling very well, so I'm not surprised that a drop-top is in the works. I agree with the post above about it being porky as-is, and this won't help.

The "small SUV" is not the EX35, since that's already been released. Infiniti already has two SUVs, so I hope they haven't dropped their small sedan plans (sub-G35) to focus on becoming an all-SUVs-to-all-people maker.

As if the G37 isn't heavy enough as it is ...

I hope they have a weight-loss program for it! Or it's going to be really really hard to call it a performance-oriented car.

I love it when companies get all cutesy with pet names for their growth strategies. Just build the f*cking cars and get on with it. Trust me, nobody outside your executive washroom really gives a sh*t.
