I do see merit in these recent price increases.... The information age for car buyers has changed everything for Automakers and dealers.... Profit is not a dirty word, almost everyone needs it.... The phone companies seem to be swimming in it... and People trade phones alot more often than cars... If a customer can bring an invoice into a dealership and wants to pay that price than the dealer has a right to recoup those losses somewhere... Remember how much a bucket of popcorn costs at the movies... their profit margins must hover in the 100% range verses 3% for an actual car that has to be maintained, pre-inspected, and stored on a lot.. Plus- it keeps me in a job- and then I shop and stimulate everyone's else paycheck when I do!!
