I LOVE White Castle

However I don't usually do drive throughs... I don't like putting food in my car.

Been on a Checkers kick lately, because theres one down the street from where I work, Checkers is drive thru only anyway, but I usually take this 1965 Nova that's just been sitting in the parking lot where I work.

Never had a White Castle burger, but then I haven't been east enough yet. I've had White Spot in Canada, though, and they are decent. I wonder if they are related? Or maybe they're just ripoffs...

I've also had Whataburger in Texas, and I didn't like it.

However, my favorites are In 'n' Out and Fatburger in Vegas, and Crown Burger in Salt Lake City. I like Carl's Jr.'s "6 Dollar Burger", too, but it's so freakin' big that it's hard to finish. It's good, but not one of my favorites.

"FUC< NISSAN"

Fuc is less than Nissan? I'm not too sure about that...

My Nissan has not been the most reliable car I've owned. In fact, I've had a few troubles with it. The lights by the side doors like to fall out all the time, as do the covers over the roof-mounted AC vents. Also, I had to KrazyGlu the inside door panel to the door because it kept coming off. I had to remove the door completely to do this (which was a pain). However, as far as engine and transmission, there have been zero problems. It's a decent car, but the interior fit and finish could have been much better. We bought it for size, cargo space and passenger room more than anything, and it has been perfect for what we needed. I do most of my own maintenance, and other than the freakin' pulley tensioner (which I know Olds hates with good reason), working on it isn't too bad. They've been using that type of tensioner system at least since 1975.

Once, when I took my family to México (I have yet to find a good burger in México), someone stole my antenna. However, I didn't notice until we were coming back, and I stopped at Jack in the Box on the US side and I tried to put an antenna ball on an antenna that wasn't there. However, the radio works perfectly without the antenna. That was pretty cool.

My '92 Primera had decent enough quality.
Electric everything still worked in '07.

My '90 BMW the electric mirrors don't work, or the headlight switch etc.

In fact the general interior on the Primera felt more solid.

The headrests had a lovely springback mechanism, the leathers were nice and comfy, the switches solid enough, the boot was huge etc

I do miss that beastie, but I do love my 3 series.

The P10 was loyal to me and I had a lot of fun in that car... *slight sniffle*

Bimmer, did you read the thread? Plenty of Nissan bashing going on up in here. The new Maxima is crap -- "a 4 door sports car?" I drive a four-door sports car, and it will MURDER a 4000-lb FWD sedan with a CVT that has fake shift points programmed in, any hour of any day of any week of any month -- of any year.

I would hate to be seen going to White Castle in the Maxima.
What an ugly dash in the car. A copy of the Pontiac G6 indoor/outdoor floor mat all over the dash.
BUT the White Castle is the best burger out there.
Yes, the best.

Oh, I see, when Ford announced same program (see LLN article couple weeks ago) regarding quality everybody bitched and moaned how crappy Fords are, but when Nissan does same thing, everybody lickin' Nissans' ass by saying how great they're for coming out with such program.

I had an Infiniti FX. Lots of problems. And the dealers are dicks. Like I am bugging them because my sunroof leaks, or the leather on the seats failed in 8 months, or the finish flaked off the roof rails, or the tech forgot to plug the taillights back in after that recall. I could keep going, but what's the point?

Never had a baconator. I do like the spicy chicken sandwich at Wendy's.

QUALITY CONTROL FUN :)

"This is a good thing, though. Last I checked GM/ford/Chrysler both shared a single guy to do the quality control checking for all their companies/brands."

Crackerhemi, last I checked GM/Ford/Chrysler were three companies not two. The word "both" refers to a sum of two not three.

"I went to church the other day, and the mexican priest told me to but my Nissan (knees on) the floor."

jumpoffit, the priest told you to..... what? There is no action here. Although there may be in the church. lol

Must have gotten by the quality inspectors. LOL Just having a little fun guys.

Anyway, I didn't know Nissan had that big of an issue with qc. It's good that they see an issue and wow, what a way to jump on it and try and fix it right away. I am currious to know how many inspectors Toyota, GM, Ford, Honda and so on, have.

Fletch,
Right On! You can't inspect quality into your vehicles. You have to BUILD IT INTO THEM. Reminds me of the old American Motors ad slogan, "American Motors, where quality is built in, not added on".

Increasing your QC personnel from 250 to 4300 seems a bit overkill. Wouldn't you think it would only take 5 or 6 people with good taste to say, "Yeah, that sucks." or "Yep, that looks good."? I just hope they don't get 4050 people who think the Z interior is okay as is. It's not about quantity, it's about quality, and that goes for personnel too.

cars that are causing nissan the biggest problems are the american built quest and armada/qx56. some UK models did have similar quality problems but the UK built Qashqai has addressed that

I love Jack-In-The-Box, but probably only because we don't have any in British Columbia. Haven't been there for awhile thanks to the insane typical 3 hour border lineups... which usually contain a lot of Nissans.

Wendy's is my favorite fast food restaurant, but they have gotten pretty expensive like most places and there isn't one very close to where I work :(

My friend used to own a Sentra Spec-V and he had about 6 issues that he needed to go to the dealer for, none of them being the notorious butterfly valve screws backing out due to no threadlocker. The screws would shoot into the engine and would likely break your intake valves. Very high quality stuff coming out of Nissan ... NOT! Good to see they are trying to address it.

I wish Nissan would put a heavy emphasis on CVT Elimination.

For that damn thing alone I would never consider a Nissan automatic (not that I would anyway). By the way, the new Maxima is ugly as sin. Still nicer than the TL, though.

Actually HomoRR, guys can't get pregnant, so there is no need for birth control for you. I think you got your quote wrong. In your case, its called having your fudge cake and eating it, too.

Having noted quite a few quality glitches in my 6 month old Armada, I can understand their concern. To be fair, though, most of them were niggly issues. The stuff that did concern me was 1) the alignment was way off (and I mean WAY off! I checked it myself at the shop where I work.) and 2) the right front strut blew out after about 1,000 miles. Everything has been taken care of and has been fine since but it does raise the question as to the quality of the vehicle when it left the factory.

I don't have health problems, I'm the right weight for my height. As far as the sperm count, that's just birth control. It's called having your cake and eating it too.

The Baconator is nasty! At least, here where I am it's nasty. It's like eating hot peanut oil and cheese on bread. Otherwise, though, I love Wendy's. I really wish they hadn't killed the Big Bac'n Classic with Cheese.

My wife drives a Nissan minivan.

Actually, this is pretty good news, but that's a huge increase in personnel. I hope they're doing well enough to afford that sort of increase.

That's good to hear. As far as I know Nissan's been putting a lot more emphasis on quality recently.

HHR- Haven't had the baconator, but even with the " healthy fresh meat", you've still got health problems... that Mountain Dews bringing down your sperm count!
