Nissan has revealed the 2013 version of its GT-R Nismo GT3. As with the 2012 model, the 2013 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is intended to compete in a number of racing classes across the globe.

Although the car looks essentially the same as last year's model, Nissan has made several key updates to the 2013 GT-R Nismo GT3. Underhood the same basic twin-turbocharged 3.8L V6 remains, but Nissan has improved the engine's power through new camshaft timing. The mill is also more durable for 2013, thanks to the reinforcement of moving parts.

The 2013 GT-R Nismo GT3 also arrives with new canards and larger front fender louvers, aiding in front-end downforce. In order to keep the rear-end better planted, the 2013 GT-R Nismo GT3's rear wing position was optimized.

Nissan will only manufacture the 2013 GT-R Nismo GT3 to order, which is reflected by the car's $436,400 price tag. Nissan is currently readying an update kit for the 2012 GT-R Nismo GT3, but pricing for that has yet to be announced.

The not-road-legal 2013 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is currently available for order through Nismo.
