Nissan ’s marketing team is thinking outside of the box, this time turning to a 1/10th scale radio controlled replica of a new Sentra SE-R in order to deliver an action-packed commercial – resulting in a fun new approach that only required a fraction of the budget a full-scale commercial would have.
Between the Internet, radio, magazines, social media and television ads, consumers are being increasingly bombarded with advertisements trying to push their respective products. Nissan has decided to take a unique approach to their latest Sentra SE-R commercial in an attempt to stand out from the rest of the pack, while simultaneously savings a bundle of dough in the process.
This creative commercial takes a 1/10th scale Nissan Sentra SE-R replica-turned RC car and dashes through industrial parks, alongside a California sunset, power sliding through actual (full-size) busy streets, an RC helicopter pursuit and culminates in a pizza box ramp launch through a doggy door into a garage.
Of course, once inside, this small scale RC finds itself resting next to the source of its inspiration – a a shiny new full-size Nissan Sentra SE-R .
