The board is unelected, gives themselves raises whenever they feel like it, and compensates for the systems massive deficits through fuel and property taxes whether or not you use the system or if it's even available where you live. And with the Olympics less than 2 years away they're managing to disrupt just about every major artery as construction continues on all the new routes being added to our beloved 'Skytrain' system. The silliest part is most of the Olympic events are in Whistler which is over an hour's drive from Vancouver.
