It seems obvious to me that this car should come back as a four door Camaro.
If BMW can sell their 3 series as anything from M3 coupes to station wagons then so can Chevrolet with this sporty car.
The Camaro has been a hugh sucess and they can build on the great looks but make it slightly more convenient.
Do it GM!!!!

This car looks so much better in Holden or Chevrolet form imo, I went to Dubai this August(2009) and there were lots of them running around, they looked better than the G8.

Ok looks like i jumped the gun or maybe read this LLN articel the wrong way….but we in australia will be getting updated ssv series cars, ute and wagons….NOT Pontiac badged and fascia as i thought after reading this LLN article..

i thought it a bit weird they would badge the commodore as a pontic in the same country…ahwell i like the update….looks good enough on paper to me…

It’s no wonder why General Motors is in the shape it’s in.

1) drop Oldsmobile
2) drop Pontiac
3) drop Saturn
4) drop Hummer
5) introduce a dull “design-by-committee” vehicle and don’t change it for years. Then stand around wondering why it’s not selling.
6) bring to sell in the USA only a sedan, and not other styles. Australia gets them!

…. and they will continue to make these mistakes. How do they expect their sales to improve if they don’t have any cars to sell?

Funny I was reading about this elsewhere this morning wondering if LLN would even mention it.

The pickup we were hoping would come to the US as a Pontiac. So close yet so far…. Wagon looks sharp too. I like it better than the new Caddy esp the back.
