Pagani, Koenigsegg to unveil new cars in Geneva

Pagani will unveil a new car called the Roadster F at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the company said today. The “F” is a tribute to race driver Juan Manuel Fangio. The car will reportedly feature a 650 horsepower V12 engine sourced from Mercedes‘ AMG division. 0-60 is estimated at 3.7 seconds. Meanwhile, Koenigsegg has announced plans to unveil new new 2007 CCX, also at the Geneva show. It will have 806 horsepower, weigh just 2200 pounds, and reach 62 mph in 3.2 seconds. It is also expected to run the quarter mile in just nine seconds. The car will cost $650,000 — staggering price, but about half the price of the Bugatti Veyron. No the Koenigsegg is most likely a V8. But those are 2 very exotic makes. So its exciting news for auto media, and these cars are basically competitors so thats why they catergorized them like that.

Incorrect, the CCX will not have 806bhp – the existing CCR has 806bhp, so presumably the CCX will have more.
