$2M Pagani Zonda collides with guardrail in UK

The road appears to be a bit slick, posing an elevated risk for supercar shenanigans.

A Pagani Zonda has been involved in an unfortunate accident in the UK.

Sussex police suggest the car, estimated to be worth around £1.5 million (~$2 million USD), sustained significant damage on the A27 near Tangmere after colliding with the center divider guardrail.

Pictures posted by the police show a rain-slicked road and a damaged Zonda facing the wrong direction.

Damage is most certainly of high cost, though most supercars of such rarity and value are restored rather than sent to the scrapyard.

"We believe the Pagini was travelling in convoy with some other super sports car from Worthing to Chichester but no other car was at scene upon police arrival," Sussex police said. "Thankfully the driver of the Pagini was uninjured."

Potential witnesses have been asked to contact police, hinting at an investigation into the circumstances hat led to the crash.
