This is a bygone and archaic dinosaur of a car; heavy and fuel consuming, it handles like QE II, it costs a fortune and it's a car for really, really wealthy people..And I love it!!!

Sad to see Bentley letting this legend go. I must admit though, it would be hard not to consider a Roller if I was in this market. Theyre just so compelling in their beauty.

[Got Handling?] is correct. The demand has been too strong, and continues to be. We could have sold 1000. But only 150 means something very, very special for our best customers, some of whom had sent in a full cash payment -- even before receiving their invitations. All 150 are people who insist upon bespoke automobiles. Some will even request a certain color and pattern of stitching on the seats, which may differ from the color of the stitching on the steering wheel. There are as many different options for wood trim as there are for seating, stitching, exterior color, etc. That is, unless something else like carbon fiber is preferred. The customer does not only have the choice of color for the carpeting, but, if they like, how plush it is, and/or what it is made from. Which is also the case for the leather seating. Matte calfskin, goatskin, suede accents, whatever you wish. The owner might not care for the tone of the horn, so we can change it. Or add more horns, for harmony. Each AFS will truly be one-of-a-kind.

But there is only so much that can be done without a modern chassis. And an Arnage customer is not a Spur customer. So it is time for a new generation Bentley, different from the Spur, yet one that continues our heritage of quality, luxury, and power.

Timing is still being discussed with respect to the future of the Azure. And while the most recent run of Brooklands is over, that doesn't mean that you will never see another.

Inline 6: Just remember, the Brooklands has come and gone already, Bentley only made 550 of them, all of which have already been bought and deliverd. But that would suck if they all went with the Arnage..

El Aleman: The Veryron engine?! W16 and 4 Turbochargers..could you imagine that in a Arnage? It woudlent even fit!

NOOO

I love the Arnage line..
The way I see Bentley is that they are traditional. Which is a nice thing. I always find it hard for me to adjust to model changes with Bentley. Bentley are the greatest automakers ever (In my opinion), and my favorite, and it wouldent be the same without the Arnage! Awell, those 150 buyers are lucky. I hope Bentley replace it with something not to futuristic, and not with something that is better than the Continental FS.

The next Arnage will get the 6 3/4 engine, VWs engineers are working overtime to help it meet emission standarts and stuff like that.
Also the Veyron engine might be dropped in, so buckle up!

This car really is lovely. It'll be a shame to see it go.

But if they can the Arnage, will the Azure and Brooklands go with it, too? They're on the same platform.

I wonder what Bentley has up its sleeve to replace this car. Hopefully, it'll still be powered by the 6 3/4 V8.

shame on you, you philistine. They tried to kill it off before but the demand was too strong to ignore, at least if this the last one, they've done it with style, more than might have been expected of the Germans
