I couldn’t take the author seriously after the contrived AARP reference.

By that same insane logic, there’s no point in Mercedes performance division either. (AARP membership 50+, Average Mercedes Owner 52 years old, Average Jaguar Owner 58 years old).

For what its worth, the average age of an S-Class buyer is in his 70s… See ya later S63 and S65… you have been deemed pointless!

Good move for Jaguar. The last thing you want to do with this class of automobile is blend into the scenery and the new Cats look pretty good to begin with.

If performance means getting to the tow truck quicker than a regular XF, I’d say it’s not a smart investment
