According to the French automaker, the EX1 completed a lap of the Nurburgring's Nordschleife in 9 minutes, 1.338 seconds, capturing the record for an electrically-powered vehicle. The previous EV lap record was nearly a minute slower than the EX1's time.
The concept version of the EX1 uses two electric motors good for a combined 340 horsepower but, unfortunately, Peugeot doesn't have any current plans for a production version of the Tesla-fighter.
