That said, I think this campaign looks pretty good - but I am glad someone pointed me in the direction of ' the rest of the story', as they say. It doesn't work indoors, and unless the antenna can "see" the Sats through the windows, it won't work on a plane either. I have a hand-held Garmin, and I've tried it on a plane. You have to put it up against the window and hold it there. Sitting in a window seat, it will lose tracking even on the tray table. GPS is line of sight. That seems the only thing practical to fly the c-130. GPS alone will not get the plane there safely.
