Even if the “Amusement Park” video does not make it to TV, there is still a possibility that it could wind up on youtube.com some how some way. Trust me, nowadays people watch more youtube then they do TV. GM knows what they are dooing with their advertizing (can’t say the same for their cars tho). Look at the Cadillac Escalade, 50 Cent and others had them in their music videos and look, the Escalade was a sales winner (not to mention the wheel and tire companies who couldn’t make enough chrome 22″ rims to keep up with demand).

To be fair, I am probably being too hard on this. I am simply against almost all aspects of rap culture, and don’t like it mixing with my car (Though the GXP is a total bastardization of what I thought was a really nice looking car). It is a sound marketing tool though, and perhaps this will inspire some aftermarket interest that currently isn’t really there for the 3.6L G6 (which I own in the much more attractive, though sadly now defunct, GTP variant). Oh well, have at it GM.
