KarLoveBoy88 – Finding a bare bones Cayman or Porsche of any type is harder than finding something nice to say about Oprah. The car used in this test is actually on the very low end of the option spectrum. Take off the price for the PDK and you’re still looking at a minimum of $66,000 for a Cayman S, although you probably can get it discounted some thanks to the crappy economy.

The review that Jeremy Clarkson gave this car says it all to me. It could be better than the 911, but they just couldn’t do that. For that reason I wouldn’t buy on, it has been held back.

I’m a Porsche hater and I somehow am drawn to the styling of this car and the price isn’t too bad either. Definitely better than the Boxter.

The car that the Audi TTS is supposed to embarrass and cut in sales but failed. The Cayman S is still the Porsche to get and best for the $.

tbh I don’t like the car very much, performance and engineering wise its great but I don’t dig the styling, it should be something different than the 911, sort of like how the 944 was different from the 911.

I can’t complain…In my life I have had 2 911′s and a 944 (Amoung countless others)… I just got a phone call from a old friend who went on to explain how well off he is because he has kept the same car for 16 years…Well, I would not change a thing. I have spent a lot of money, but reading and lusting after cars since the age of 9 they have brought me great joy. I am just glad we still have these type of choices. I hope all you younger folks keep up the passion……

This is the best bang for your buck. I was never too crazy about the Boxter being that it is only a convertible. But they combine the likes of the Boxter and the 911 and voila! Instant success. This is my future car. I would just have a stick and minus all the useless and over priced options. If I wanted a living room on wheels, I’d option for a 7 Series or something. Except for the Bose system. Gotta have my music.

I hear that Jake. Many reviews, including the newest Motor Trend, call it the best overall sports car on the road. Specifically the PDK version. Without having driven it or most of it’s competitors, I couldn’t disagree. It has the makings on paper, that’s for sure.

Probably the best car built today, for every reason there could be. Great color choice on the one in the pics! That’s pretty much the exact car I’d be driving if I had the money to do so.
