Veda,
more like VW's are downgraded Audis. Not sure if you were complimenting or criticizing Audi, but in the car industry, Audi's interiors are considered the target for everyone else. NOBODY does it better.

Everything from the plastic in an Audi feels like VW. They're basically upgraded VW's. It's impossible to separate them both. In regard to Porsche taking over those brands, I think it could be a good thing as they'll probably increase the reliability of those brands.

Seat is not exactly the biggest success thats why Volkswagen is looking to sell. In the UK you never see a Seat, Maybe once in every 200 cars about the same as a Dodge.

Plus at point Volkswagen was willing to supply Dodge with platforms for the Hornet but apparently Dodge was not willing to pay the amount as they thought it was too expensive. Volkwagen wouldn't mind Dodge using their platforms as it is probably the only way to get rid of Seat otherwise who would buy it?

stuart all seats are based on volkswagen products, if vw sold seat to dodge then they would basicly be giving them copies of their most recent vehicles. Also the name seat has much more standing in europe than dodge, so it would be better to keep them as seats. Dodge was recently reintroduced to holland officaly with the caliber and it has been a huge flop. they had masive advertising campaines and i have yet to see one on the road. seat is pretty sucseful because they sell cheaper sporty versions of volkswagen products. if they fell into the hands of dodge they would just flop.

If the rumours of selling Seat are true then why not just sell the company to dodge and rebadge them (the way Chevrolet done with Daewoo) as Dodge for Europe and Seat for Spain Only. This would also allow Dodge to offer a small car in the A,B segment in America.

Right now Porsche has too much to think about other than obtaining VW. The 2008 Model face lift of the Cayenne, The All-new 2009 model year Cayenne, the GT2, the Panamera, the successor to the Carrera GT(GT1?), Porsche RS Spyder, and theres a big rumour of them getting back to F1 racing which would be really awesome. Alot of good things to come for such a wonderful company. Im looking foward to the next couple years with Porsche.
