LS7: There will be many people in europe buying a diesel Cayenne, over 50 percent of the luxury segment in europe are diesels.I don´t think that porsche will anyway deliver them to the states. In europe almost everybody cares about gas prices, even people wich make 100000 € a year. Only millionares don´t care. And not every owner of a porsche is a millionaire.

Deanster, it’s not gay it’s lesbian. I see nothing wrong with it: I am lesbian myself and like to sample raw goods from time to time.

There is nothing wrong with diesel Caenne. It may not beat 6 cylinder Caenne from the red light, but once it’s gets up to speed, it will whoop it on acceleration any time. I recall some years ago driving Discovery with 4 cylinder diesel and manual gearbox and was amazed how close in US spec V8 it was. Yet it was only 100 HP or so, but the torque made all the difference. I don’t believe someone will “convert” from Caenne to WV: the disparity in quality justifies extra coin for the same rig.

mayer_ray_nagin, Skoda is actually ranked in higher quality then Porsche in Europe. I read that it scored second after Lexus in JD Power rating. Actually, Caenne either stamped or screwed together in Slovakia, next door to Czech republic and former co-state, hence decent quality.

Torque should be impressive thow. Drove a BMW X5 with a 3.0L diesel and it was fine. pleny of power. Also don’t forget that right now They Porsche SUV offers a V6 gas motor LS7. Kinda makes your comment seem stupied. People who cant afford the Porsche that really like it buy the VW.

None will buy this. Nobody wants a diesel Porsche–even in an SUV format. But then again…. poverty f.aggots will probably buy one, for bragging rights. “What kind of car do you drive?” The f.aggot’s response will be: “Oh, I drive a Porsche.” Nevermind that it is a pathetic 240HP 4000lb vehicle that will get its **** kicked out of it by a Toyota Rav4.
