Man doesn’t even have the faintest clue when it comes to this stuff yet, so stop pretending like you do. Why was it much cooler during the period know as the “little ice age” from the 13th century until the mid-19th century? How come in the centuries preceding that era were markedly warmer than they were today… leading to the population explosion in Europe of those middle ages? How come the rising temperatures from the mid-19th century onward also coincides with the start of a period of increased solar activity? How come during that “little ice age” the sun was in a period of very little solar activity?

Bottom line douche bag – there’s a whole lot more at play than man burning stuff. No one, and I mean NO ONE has a solid understanding of the earth’s climate cycles… and that includes you – Professor Ass-ton.

Get off your soapbox already and stop pretending you know everything – because so far you’ve only proven you know next to nothing, regardless of whether we’re talking about cars… or the environment.

I don’t know which country you live in, but here in America the weather forecast is pretty damn accurate, down to the hour, give or take a couple of hours of margin. But that’s not really the point, the point is that this is what humans do– we control our environment. Don’t be scared. I know it’s hard for some to accept new technology, but don’t view it as something bad. In fact in the near future, scientists plan on controlling the weather (making it rain in places with severe drought, stopping tropical storms from becoming deadly hurricanes, etc). It’s science.

And yes, I do support that.

Time to go kill/burn something else…

It won’t be Al Gore that saves us from climate change, nor will it even be an ecologist. We will be saved by science, not nonsense political rantings.

Wickeddated – It scares me you’d be willing to try and change the earth’s climate. Actually, not only willing, but suggest and support the attempt. Scary. Weather forecasters can’t even get tomorrow’s weather right and you want to change the climate. As if the world’s climate was some cheap little transformer toy to take apart and try to fix. If I had to guess, there would be parts left over. Maybe before we take on such a daunting task, we might try something easy like terra-forming the Saharra into a rain forest? Or maybe we should at least practice on the moon first, or maybe Mars. Manufacturers are having a hard time developing cheap fuel efficienct vehicles, and you want to get busy reshaping the Earth’s atmosphere.

yeah, there is such a thing as climate change… but it has nothing to do with man. Gee… did we watch Gore’s docu-garbage recently? Let me guess.. you believe everything Michael Moore tells you too? There have been many times in the earths history where the overall climate was much warmer than it is now.. how the **** do you think a bunch of giant reptiles were able to flourish around the globe? We’re just now coming out of what’s known as the “little ice age,” places like Greenland was once a lot “greener” than it is today, despite all the hype in the news (just tonight ironically) about the ice sheets melting…. the sahara used to be lush and tropical… florida used to be underwater. It’s all cyclical and we have nothing to do with it… the earth has been doing this **** long before man started burning stuff.

So get over yourself you treehugging pansy… besides I’ll be dead long before the worst of it comes and we cool back into another ice age.. so what the **** do I care?

I think I’ll go burn something just for the hell of it… and maybe club a baby seal while I’m at it.
