The video features Porsche design boss Michael Mauer and designer Mitja Borkert detailing the development of the Panamera Sport Turismo from early drawings all the way up to the car's Paris debut. Most of the video takes place behind the scenes at the automaker's research and design facility in Weissach, Germany.
Porsche has yet to confirm if the Panamera Sport Turismo will ultimately make the transition to production, but if the reaction from the Paris crowd is anything to go by, the more shapely version of the Panamera should eventually get the green light. On thing is for sure – the Panamera Sport Turismo's plug-in hybrid system will make its way into a production Porsche vehicle.
