yeah , i think Maserati cars are ugly as shit . the Panamera isn’t the best looking car , but at least it has character.

Porsche could easily have made this car better looking by sacrificing rear passenger room. Apparently one of the higher ups insisted that he should fit comfortably in the back with plenty of headroom and he is well over 6 feet tall. If they had been able to lower the rear roof line by just a few inches it would have dramatically reduced that bloated look this car has.

That said, it is not nearly as bad as I had feared. An interesting thing happens with polarizing designs when they perform fantastically. Suddenly they start to look better. Porsche I think has done the right thing by sticking with function first and then shape the form around it. This car may not always stir everone’s soul with its look. But it will be hard not to respect what it is capable of.

I am curious if there is a “Ring” time for this beast yet.

Its not the prettiest car but this will be THE consummate sports car. Porsche does not do pretty it does brilliant driving experience.

The interior is sublime, I must say.
I still think it looks absolutely hideous from the B-pillar back and think anyone who says they like it MUST be lying to themselves! They MUST be – clearly it’s unsubjectively ugly!

Another thing I don’t like, especially on a $130,000 car which should be loaded, are the blank buttons on the passenger side of the centre console. Deleted buttons look extremely cheap, even on a Toyota, here it’s inexcusable! It shouldn’t look like you didn’t check all the option boxes when you’re spending this much money.

For what it’s worth, I feel Porsche missed the proper boat here. They should’ve done something Quattroporte-sized yes, which is fine, but the rear is so unbelievably horrid.

Such a shame when this sedan might well become the “best car in the world”, looks aside.

There is just something so dumpy about that rear end, especially on the side profiles. It could have been a great car otherwise. I would rather have any of the cars mentioned by Dr Heinz-Jakob Neuβer.
