Have you ever driven a Cayenne? Do you do anything but sit in front of your PC and give uneducated opinions on vehicles you know nothing about? When the Cayenne first came out I was one of the haters. I thought Porsche had sold out and lost their way. Then I decided I should give Porsche the benefit of the doubt that they might know what they are doing and I test drove a Turbo for a day. It took me a couple hours to figure out what the Cayenne T was all about but at the end of the day I took it home. No other car I have driven can do everything the CT does as well as the the Porsche. It's a swiss army knife. It drives like a sports sedan. Make that a really good sports sedan. It's like a rally car in the snow. I can throw the dog and the mountain bike in it and head off road to the trails. Even at 5200lbs + it can show taillights to almost everything I meet at a stoplight. It can tow my car to the track. And, it has never been in the shop for anything but sched maintenance. Shocker! I wasn't in love with the looks but after I really spent some time looking over the exterior design I started to get it and I think it looks really cool. In fact as ugly as everyone says it is online I have yet had anyone say anything but how pretty it is. I get compliments on it all the time. Chicks dig it. My car guy buddies are always wanting to drive it. What else can I say? It's not perfect. I think the transmission is a little funky and the ergos could use improvement but overall the flaws are easily overlooked when you stop on the gas pedal. I think the Rockster would be a great addition to the line up if it is anything like the Cayenne. Unfortunately in a real world where practicality often trumps performance Porsche cannot survive on Sports cars alone.
