Porsche is planning a number of European debuts for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show – including the 918 RSR hybrid racing car concept and the 330 horsepower Cayman R – but the German automaker also has one world premier up its sleeve.
Porsche has announced a new “parallel full hybrid model” will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Porsche didn’t release much in the way of details, but says the new model follow in the footsteps of its successful Cayenne S Hybrid model.
Although not confirmed, it’s likely the new model will take the form of the long-rumored Panamera Hybrid. Like the Cayenne hybrid, the Panamera Hybrid is expected to use a version of Volkswagen’s 3.0L supercharged V6 mated to an electric motor, generating at least 380 horsepower.
