Porsche has officially confirmed plans to build a production version of the Mission E Cross Turismo concept.

Likely to be renamed the Taycan Sport Turismo before arriving in showrooms, the electric hatchback has already been spied undergoing development testing.

The Cross Turismo concept borrowed the Taycan's 800-volt battery architecture, with a system output of 600 horsepower and 311 miles of estimated range according to the NEDC test cycle.

The production edition will presumably be offered in several different packages with varying levels of power and performance.

Porsche is currently focused on bringing the Taycan sedan into production for arrival next year. The Sport Turismo will likely arrive in 2021 or later.
