Porsche teases Taycan EV [Video]

Porsche has released a new teaser video for the Taycan, formerly known as the Mission E.

The video presumably shows the all-electric sedan in its production form, though only its silhouette is clearly defined in the darkened photos.

The new name is said to be a Eurasian term that roughly translates to "lively young horse," evoking Porsche's familiar crest and ushering in an era of electric power for the performance marque.

The production Taycan is expected to be formally revealed later this year and begin rolling off the assembly line next year.
