Volkswagen’s Czech subsidiary Skoda is set to unveil a new concept car called the Joyster Concept at the Paris Motor Show later this month. Not much is known about the vehicle, or whether it will lead to a production model for the European market. Rumors have suggested the Joyster is based on the VW Golf platform. Kill off Skoda? Skoda has become what VW was… inexpensive German (ok, fine, Czech) engineering. I’d love it if we could get Skodas over here… VWs are creeping up in price and sophistication.

Looks like a Dodge Hornet on the backhalf to me… could this be the partner that Dodge was looking for to build this? Haven’t there been plenty of rumors of VW building the car for Dodge and then shopping this out to their brethren Skoda?
