Volkswagen’s Czech subsidiary Skoda is set to unveil a new concept car called the Joyster Concept at the Paris Motor Show later this month. Not much is known about the vehicle, or whether it will lead to a production model for the European market. Rumors have suggested the Joyster is based on the VW Golf platform. Nice looking, but quite SAAB-ish?

Just another decent looking hatch. Nothing special about it. Kinda looks like the Roadjet concept, and it will never see American shores if it gets produced.

Looks really nice in illustration, but I bet it’s one of those designs that don’t translate well into a beutiful working model.

Kill off Skoda? Skoda has become what VW was… inexpensive German (ok, fine, Czech) engineering. I’d love it if we could get Skodas over here… VWs are creeping up in price and sophistication.

Looks like a Dodge Hornet on the backhalf to me… could this be the partner that Dodge was looking for to build this? Haven’t there been plenty of rumors of VW building the car for Dodge and then shopping this out to their brethren Skoda?
