The 2010 Ford Mustang is just hours away from its official debut at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, but pricing and options have leaked out on the GT Premium model. Although the information leak doesn’t give us any hints in the way of the ‘Stang’s powerplant, it does give us an idea of what to expect from the new model.
According to information obtained by MustangBlog.com, the 2010 GT Premium will retail from $30,095 – a $935 jump from the current GT Premium model. But the GT Premium will stay true to its nomenclature and offer a well-equipped Mustang package. Some standard equipment includes Ford ’s SYNC, 18 inch wheels, a Shaker 500 audio system, ambient lighting, a gloss paint center stack and console, aluminum trim and a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat.
A 4.6L V8 is listed as the GT Premium’s motivation, but no horsepower or torque figures were listed.
Several packages will also be available for the 2010 Mustang, including a security package ($995), comfort package ($575), GT track package($1,445) – which includes upgraded brakes, a 3.73 rear end and a revised stability control system – and an electronics package ($2,700).
