It’d be nice if they staggered them from the factory lol. Or atleast equip it with a wide one. 18inch 255′s in the rear would be nice.

^ I believe they ARE the CH’s. It’s a nice looking wheel, in person. There’s a local here in NJ that has ‘em on a modified BMW E36 M3, and they look crazy.

those wheels look like bbs ch. I think they look decent. I would prefer an lm look wheel..but for stock the ch look is good.

the faux honeycombe is actually better for aerodynamics. If the honeycombe was real air would go through the engine bay were it would cause more drag. if the car doesnt need more cooling its better not to have more openings.

Must agree that the Euro-only-for-now-and-probably-forever GT is much better looking than the GTI, as is the R32. Oh well.

VW, Being the multi billion dollar company they are, could’ve seriously gotten a better picture of the car. Location sucks, debris on the ground, weird shot of building in the back, and they need to stop being lazy and actually “mount” the wheels on the car instead of photoshopping them.

Horrible picture.
VW, you need to hire some new Photographers. Contact Porsche AG. for some recommendations.

Gimme, gimme, gimee. I agree with bepsf the fog light surrounds look cheap. But considering how good the new GTI is and with the power upgrade, it’s just about the perfect car for city scooting. Just sell it when the warranty expires.

The thing that always gets me about the GTI are the honeycomb faux-grilles surrounding the foglamps – they’re Horrible looking and can’t be any good for aerodynamics…

Much prefer the cleaner look of the European GT front end…

yeah im not a fan of the rims… looks like those will be changed if we all have that response. they look too small too. obviously the 30hp is a plus, but ill just get an APR chip for the base model GTI and put out another 52hp.

Should be a nice ride, but the plaid is just trying WAAAAAY too hard to look cool. I agree about the rims too…..don’t like them.

I dig the retro plaid in the new GTI’s. I also like the “phone dial” rims from this years US GTI. I don’t like the wheels on this car. However an extra 30 horses is always welcome.

Something about those rims doesnt look right on the car. Would have liked more differentiation on the interior.

Cant they put some zanker rims from the R32 on there or something?
