Ram took the wraps off the 1500 Mossy Oak Edition pickup truck today, a limited-availability model that the brand says will appeal to outdoors-oriented customers.
Developed in partnership with Mossy Oak, one of the leading companies in the camouflage industry, the truck is differentiated by bedcaps and tailgate covered in Mossy Oak Breakup Infinity camouflage pattern. Inside, the instrument panel and doors get the same treatement, and Mossy Oak badges abound in the cabin as well as the exterior. The truck will be priced from $39,910 before destination.
Ram Truck owners are deeply involved with the outdoors and proudly participate in hunting and fishing,” said Fred Diaz president of Ram. “In recognition of the millions of American hunters, we’re launching the Ram Mossy Oak Edition, as we did the Ram Outdoorsman, to keep our focus on the needs and wants of our customers so that they can enjoy their enthusiasm for the outdoors and their sport of choice.”
Power Wagon gets two new trim levels
On a seperate note, Ram also announced that the Power Wagon would receive new ST and Laramie trim levels. The ST is a value oriented (read: no-frills) model with black fender flairs, mirrors and bumpers as well as single tone paint. The Laramie sits at the opposite end of the spectrum, offering leather seats, a premium audio system and dual-zone A/C along with generous amounts of faux-wood trim. Before destination charges, the ST and Laramie start from $42,620 and $51,995, respectively.
