Leftlane’s Mark Elias is one of just 12 journalists to have been invited to participate in the annual Internet Car and Truck of the Year awards. Voting has been whittled down to just seven vehicles in each of the two categories and next month, that list will be cut to just three cars per category before the winners are announced in December.
Votes can be placed for the award on www.internetcarandtruckoftheyear.com, but don’t forget that the deadline is October 16 at noon EST.
The semi-finalists for Car of the Year include: Chevrolet Camaro SS, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Ford Taurus SHO, Kia Forte sedan, Mazda Mazda3 , Nissan Cube and Ford Shelby GT500 .
The semi-finalists for Truck of the Year include: Audi Q5 , Audi Q7 TDI, Chevrolet Equionx, Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, Ford Transit Connect , Mercedes-Benz GLK and Volvo XC60 .
