Renault at the Geneva Motor Show unveiled the 2007 Clio Renaultsport, featuring a normally-aspirated 2.0 16V engine with 197hp coupled with a new six-speed gearbox. Acceleration from standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) requires a mere 6.9 seconds, while the kilometre standing start is covered in just 27.5 seconds. Top speed is 134 mph. With a combined cycle fuel consumption of 31.7 mpg (209g of CO2/km), New Clio Renaultsport’s fuel consumption is amongst the lowest of the hot hatch segment for cars of comparable power output.

That’s a nice little pocket rocket. I think they had it on Top Gear and it looked like it was fun. First thing that comes to mind from that last shot is that the interior looks very cramped.

Nuno, I’ve got the current model and there is plenty of room in it, the new version is meant to be even more spacious inside. I think the seats are just slid forward in that pic to show them off.
