This morning at the Geneva Motor Show, Renault officially unveiled its all-new Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet. The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet will set new standards for convertibles by offering a folding glass roof, rather than the traditional folding metal hardtop seen in the previous Coupé-Cabriolet.
Power for the new Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet will be provided by a range of gas and diesel powerplants. The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet’s gas engines will range from 110-140 horsepower while its diesel offerings will provide between 110 and 160 horsepower. Gas engines can be had with six-speed manual or CVT transmissions while the diesel mills will be hooked to either a six-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch unit.

Following up to the hatchback, coupe and sport tourer launched at the 2007 Geneva show, the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet will be the fourth variant of the third-generation Mégane nameplate. All four models ride on a platform co-developed with Nissan that also underpins the Japanese automaker’s North American Sentra and Rogue models.
