Report: Honda planning low-cost hybrid

02/22/2006, 10:16 AM

By admin

Honda plans to sell an inexpensive hybrid version of its Fit compact car starting in 2007, according to a Japanese newspaper report. The car would reportedly sell for $11,795 — compared to just over $10,000 for the gasoline version. While still a significant upgrade — especially for that price segment — the Hybrid Fit would put gas-electric technology in the hands of a whole new demographic. Honda’s current hybrid models — the Accord and Civic — sell for about $2,500 above their gasoline counterparts. Many of Toyotas hybrids come at a $4,000 premium. In Janaury, the 2007 Honda Fit made its official U.S. debut.

Yeah, especially from Ahk-Med who doesn’t have to worry about his appearance in the land of arranged marrages. No wonder arabs smell so bad.

Wow, you put it so elegantly Madcapp. Thank you for your insight.

You see an affordable, reliable, economical automobile and think “I could never get laid with that.” Last I checked they weren’t exactly marketing this car as a means to get some.

What car do you need to own to think you might have even a slight chance with the ladies? I ask becuase I’ve never been **** blocked by any of the piece of **** cars I’ve owned, but appearently you have.

Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to actually think here, you can simply respond with some more racism and I will be amused. Thanks.

Apparently Ahk-med, you missed the survey that was touted all over the internet where the question was asked…Does the car a potential mate drives affect your level of interest in that person? and something over 90 percent, like 94% of women said “yes”. Its probably in the Leftlane news archives…I’ll go look. Your appearance is important in many things in life and your car is a part of that. And of course you didn’t want a response, you don’t want to really engage anybody, you want to undertake a unilateral rant that’s removed from modern day social reality.

Madcapp please do find that article, it sounds to be an interesting read. I don’t doubt the findings, your opinion in the opening comment of this thread backs it up.

Its glaringly obvious this car was not designed to get you laid, but you dismiss it for that very reason. Do you fault your DVD player for not playing cassette tapes?

I didn’t say that I didn’t want to see your response, I just didn’t think you were capable. No matter how smart you may feel after hacking out this garbage:

“you don’t want to really engage anybody, you want to undertake a unilateral rant that’s removed from modern day social reality”

You can’t shake the idiot lable you’ve earned yourself with this gem:

“Yeah, especially from Ahk-Med who doesn’t have to worry about his appearance in the land of arranged marrages. No wonder arabs smell so bad. “

Here it is Ahk-Med, right from the Leftlanenews archives you foolish retard. and its 95% of women. Read down at the bottom where it says “A persons car is most definitely an extention of that person”. You fool, fool, fool!!!

Thanks Madcapp, I appreciate the research. Too bad the article you found doesn’t say what seem to remember it said. The article:

“95 percent of females said they were somewhat likely to notice their date’s car.”

Somewhat likely to notice the car. Somewhat likely. You “recalled” the article earlier as:

“Does the car a potential mate drives affect your level of interest in that person? and something over 90 percent, like 94% of women said “yes”"

You say:

“Read down at the bottom where it says “A persons car is most definitely an extention of that person”.”

The article says:

“A person’s car is most definitely an extension of the person,” said Ellen Fein, dating expert and best-selling co-author of The Rules.”

It’s not a survey, your quoting now, its someone with a book to sell. Have your ordered your copy yet?

Work on your reading comprehension, or stick to insulting those who you disagree with. Its clear who the fool is here.
