Revealed: 2008 Audi TT Roadster spied without disguise

Spy photographers have caught the 2007/2008 Audi TT Roadster in Germany without any disguise. These are the first photos showing the car in full showroom trim, possibly at a photo shoot. Previously, the car had only been seen in testing with camouflage. Audi might be planning to unveil the TT Roadster at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show. The 2007 TT Coupe made its world debut in April. Images after the jump…

Still kind of slow for how much the car costs.

That looks REALLY good. I’m definately going to cross-shop between this (well, the coupe) and the new 3-series coupe. Yeah, I like fast cars just as much as the next person, but that usually gets me into trouble. As mentioned earlier, nice evolution of a classic design.

It’s a crying shame that such a good looking car has front wheel drive. Sad.

imageWIS… you’re missing the point. To get that fast, you need more HP.

Just couldn’t ever get into the style of this car, and the cave like feeling you get in the drivers seat. I don’t deny it’s nice to drive but nice is about as far as it goes. Not knocking it for someone else, just not my cup of tea.

Go test drive one…

My friend has the older smaller displacement one, I think 2.0 T. Mated to a manual that car is really fun.

I’d bet this thing will do better lap times than a Mustang GT convertable.

It’s not that the TT lacks power, it lacks lightness.
