When it comes to the best of the best in the high-dollar luxury cruiser vehicle, Rolls-Royce is a name that is quick to come to mind because of its history of producing some of the most luxurious automobiles for each era.
In 2010, Rolls-Royce hopes to further cement its image as the kind of luxury by showing off a collection of one-off custom models and their (arguably) overly decorated and detailed interiors.
Included in the collection of five vehicles will be a sumptuous Phantom Extended Wheelbase in Gunmetal metallic with Sunrise leather interior. As well as a unique exterior color and sunrise leather interior, the Phantom Extended Wheelbase boasts a selection of classic bespoke interior design elements (pictured in the gallery). These features include seat piping, mother of pearl centers to white instrument dials, control dials and clock face, Rolls-Royce monogram embroidery in all head restraints and personalized tread plates inscribed with Mondial de l’Automobile Paris 2010.
Also on display will be a Carrara White metallic Phantom Drophead Coupé with Hotspur Red leather interior. Rounding out the list of several-hundred-thousand dollar vehicles will be a Phantom Coupé and two Ghosts.
“Ghost is a more approachable Rolls-Royce that is bringing an entirely new type of customer to the Rolls-Royce brand,” said CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös. “But in Paris we are also demonstrating how we continue to strengthen our position as the pinnacle luxury brand thanks to the enduring appeal of Phantom family and the depth of our bespoke personalization service.”
In a continuation of the bespoke theme, Paris will also play host to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars exclusive four-person picnic set. This bespoke commission was designed in-house and developed by craftsmen and women at the Rolls-Royce plant in Goodwood, England, carrying a luxurious price tag of $19,600.
