I’m from the reservation of Arizona, where the roads are rough and no highways. Chevy will tear and break down all the time. You see them on the side of the road. Dodge doesn’t even last a month on these roads. All you see are Ford trucks everywhere and that’s because they stand the test of time. I own three Chevy’s in the last decade and they all broke down within 200,000 miles. I own a ‘97 Ford and still cranking at 395,000 miles on the rez roads……………

“Complete with the Roushcharger” WTF!?!? What the hell is a roushcharger & why is it stated like I should know what it is and care. I do know what a Turbo is. I also know what a Supercharger is. Is it a hamster on a wheel as forced induction?

It looks like a base model that got cheesy auto parts store graphics. I don’t feel it at all. I hope it performs better than it looks.

I wish most of the people posting comments on this truck would understand the fact that Ford did not design this, Roush did! Also, this truck is not a fair comparison to Chevy’s Silverado SS – the comparison to that would be the Ford Lightning which Ford is currently not producing. I am sure that Ford will come back with the lightning in the next couple of years and it will be a GREAT truck! Until then stop the apples to oranges comparisons!!

My mistake, I juast glanced over it, and didn’t even realize it was a Roush. And I’m a fan of Jack Roush too, ha! Still think this is pointless, and full-size trucks have outlived their usefulness.

Such a wannabe. Ford needs to give up the fight to match the General. They don’t have the ability or engineering prowess so they slap stickers and big ugly wheels on their wimpy trucks to say they can compete.

Ford just needs to accept that they cannot keep up with GM and go back to their roots selling Model T’s. They’ve been sorely outclassed and out performed since then

This is a POINTLESS vehicle, unless you’re just trying to out-do the Joneses.

Trucks have horrible weight distribution, poor aerodynamics, and a higher center-of-gravity. Why on earth would you choose a truck as a performance platform? A car with slightly less power would make quick work of this truck.

it just looks like an F150 with stickers on it…i hate chrome bumpers. i think it makes trucks looks so dated and cheap. you would think there woudl be some sort of suspention upgrade.

i seem to remember when this generation of f150 came out, roush did one lowered with side skirts, stripes, tonneau cover, spoiler, and of course a supercharger… it was on ‘trucks’… it actually looked… y’know, good…

Slow and ugly? The ugly is opinion, but “the 500RC puts 445 horsepower/500 lb.-ft of torque to the road.” How many trucks do that? Th srt10 Ram may have 500hp, but that will soon come to an end. What exactly is a “fast” truck if 445hp and 500lb.-ft of torque is slow?

So sad. I am a Ford guy (not such an easy thing these days). This truck looks like the end result of a $300 shopping spree at J.C. Whitney. Why isn’t it lower? Why hasn’t the suspension been addressed? A turbo and a “Dual Exit” exhaust system? Feh! 20 inch rims and a 70’s era stripe kit? Meh! It makes me want a 1999 F-150 Harley Davidson even more.
