The LNF uses VVT, direct injection, and a twin-scroll turbo to produce 260hp and 260lb/ft... it'll leave that ol' Saab in the dust. Sure, a Pontiac G6 droptop is 35 or so with similar options... but I've driven it and it's not a fun car to drive. Lot of car for the cash, but not even remotely fun to drive. But compared tothe Audi A4, BMW 3, etc, the Saab is right in line. It’s really not that heavy or underpowered… for what it is. I just have a hard time justifying the price. $47K for a 4-cylinder turbo with 210hp? Seems a little out of line, especially since it's a rag top instead of a HT convertible. Then again, the BMW is really out of line ($60K for a 335? Come on!) I think I'll wait for the Infiniti G37 convertible to come out. I thought mitsubishis were bad! for comparison, the cobalt is ~2650lbs with the 2.2 and not much more with the same turbo 2.0. this thing has the horsepower to weight ratio of a 1980's muscle car, without all the low end torque. epic fail. It's more of a mustard yellow than I expected it to be (I haven't seen one yet in person, though I guess with only 140 out there, I might not see one for a while).
