Not bad at all. Slightly awkward, but I believe that is a good thing in the small car segment. Cars like the VW Beetle and the Mini Cooper are successful for a reason - they are sort of premium, funky, small cars rather than just another Honda Fit or Toy Yaris for the masses (boring).

It’s a nice and much needed addition to the Saab line-up. And overall, I think I like it better than the Volvo C30 (especially the back)

Very nice design, but I’m sick of Saab being GM’s biofuel marketing arm. Hybrid power - fine. Corn power - an half hearted attempt to look green, nothing more. Please GM, quit naming all Saab concepts “Bio-something” because you put it a dozen new parts and remapped the ECU to run on substandard fuel.

I agree with Commodore, quirky is good with small cars. Saab needs to rise from the ashes and become a cool car company again. I miss the ’80s for that reason alone.

Meh. You can always tell how ready a car is for production by looking at the doors. In this case, no door handles and micro ‘camera’ rearview mirrors means this is far from production. Also the wheels are too big; why does every designer need to put 22″ wheels on when production will have 16″ or 17″ max? Finally, that C-pillar creates an gapping blind-spot that exactly where you need to see; it’s the same problem with the new Scion xB.
Overall, it’s an Ok try but the proportions are all wrong. Hopefully the final version will look better.

Pleasing and practical. SAAB is making some good headway. Seems GM has been as good for SAAB as FORD has been for VOLVO.

Don’t be shy about using LEDs and a few odds and ends and this car could make production.
