In a blog posting yesterday, Jill Lajdziak, Saturn’s General Manager, said GM has decided not to use polymer body panels on the 2007 Saturn Aura and 2007 Saturn Outlook. Lajdziak said the reason for using metal panels is to achieve tighter gaps for body seams. Lajdziak also said the Aura will not be offered with a manual transmission, but rather with a six-speed automatic featuring tap-shifting.
