California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t have a motorcycle license when he crashed this week after a car pulled out in front of him, according to several published reports. “I just never really applied for it,” the governor told reporters. “It was just one of those things that I never really did.” Schwarzenegger received 15 stitches to his upper lip, but was not issued a ticket. Schwarzenegger said he had a motorcycle license in his home country of Austria. Update: Arnold’s representatives have said he did not legally need a motorcycle license, because the bike had a side-cart. However, many observers point out today that the governor spoke about driving his motorcycle solo on several occasions.
