If I were Scion I would leave the styling as is and market it as their core sports car. Give it some real power, AWD or RWD & keep it light and inexpensive. They were cheap and could take a beating. There was a good aftermarket for these trucks too. For their third new design, how about a off-roader to slot beneath the FJ Cruiser? Cars are not boxes they are supposed to be vehicles with excellent swift flowing designs where you put your your hand on the car and you feel the design in your touch. The TC sells to teenagers who want a cheap coupe the XA sells to those who want excellent gas mileage, and the XB sells to those who want a wannabe SUV. There plan is great.
