Ferrari has released a new video of its revised California hard top convertible blasting through the winding backroads of Maranello, Italy. Although it may look the same, Ferrari has actually significantly improved the California for the 2013 model year.

Unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the 2013 California isn't your average mid-cycle refresh. The new California boasts more power, less weight and a revised suspension for 2013.

You still get Ferrari's 4.3L V8 pumping beneath the hood, but horsepower has been increased to 490 - up 30 - and torque has improved by 26 lb-ft to 372. Paired with a 66 pound weight reduction, the 2013 California can blast from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds, marking a 0.2 second improvement over the outgoing model.

A new "˜Handling Speciale' suspension package is also on offer for 2013, improving the California's already sensational road-gripping abilities.

Put all that together and you have 105 seconds of visual and audio bliss. Enjoy.
