There was a time when a new car showed up at a dealer and they kept the building's windows covered 'till the release date. ...and then let the hormones take over. This new way, we seem to be buying (in our heads) 6-12mos. in advance, but a lot of blind dates end up badly because the reality doesn't meet expectations.
