The upcoming Chevrolet Volt is generating more than its share of attention, but that’s not stopping the Detroit automaker from trying to appeal to the aftermarket industry.
Unveiled at the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas, the Z-Spec Concept boasts a number of mild upgrades that GM hopes will inspire aftermarket suppliers.
Special Icy White metallic paint combines with a black chrome finish on the Volt’s grille and rearview mirrors. The center grille features billet touches and the entire exterior has been treated to a unique graphics package and a special bodykit. Although low rolling resistance tires are standard equipment on the Volt, this special concept rides on 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Volt gets a full graphics package with custom leather trim and unique floor mats.
